Foundation for Peace

One of our chosen charities

Foundation for Peace

We are proud to support local Warrington based charity The Foundation for Peace as one of our two chosen charities.

This organisation is run by the parents of twelve year old Tim Parry and supported by the parents of three year old Johnathan Ball, who were tragically killed in the Warrington IRA’s bombing in 1993. The Foundation works nationally to support those affected by terrorism and conflict, including veterans and victims of terror attacks. They support young people to turn away from violence, and work to build stronger communities without prejudice and discrimination.

Naming Our Headquarters Parry House

Naming of Parry House

First Recruitment Headquarters named Parry HouseThe new First Recruitment headquarters was named Parry House in October 2013, as a tribute to Wendy and Colin Parry. Wendy and Colin run the Peace Centre in Great Sankey where they work with vulnerable children, young people and adults affected by violence and cruelty in all its forms.

The Peace Centre is a valuable place for the local Warrington community and fits wholly with First Recruitment Group own values to support the local community now and in the future.

Most recently we sponsored their 2015 Golf Day and Christmas Party fundraisers.

Our Staff Carry Out Their Own Fundraising

Not only do we support The Foundation for Peace with one off donations, but our own staff gets involved in fundraising every month too. Once a month on pay day, our staff donate money to our two chosen charities to help raise funds.
