UK cybersecurity training program for teens returns

Cyber Discovery, the DCMS-backed online cybersecurity training program for teens, has launched for a third year across the UK.

The scheme aims to help close the UK’s cybersecurity skills gap by inspiring teenagers to pursue a career in the industry, using an online game platform with hundreds of hours of challenges and lessons to educate teens on the skills needed to become a cybersecurity expert.

Almost half of UK businesses fall victim to phishing attacks

A new report by CybSafe found that 43 percent of UK SMEs have been hit by phishing attacks in the past year, with hackers shifting their focus to smaller businesses.
