Our Directors Steve Farthing and John Urpi flew out to India this week to see first hand the work that our chosen charity, the Kamla Foundation, does.

After just a few days Steve and John have had a traditional Gujarati meal, along with the doctors from the Cleft Center, where they have helped to finance over 50 cleft lip operations, as well as a medical vehicle used to reach the more remote areas.
Along with the Chairman of the Kamla Foundation, Bhupendra Mistry, they visited the Cleft Center to meet patients, watch surgeries and talk to the doctors to find out more about the work they do, and the difference it makes.
Without surgery, people cannot eat or speak properly, won’t be able to get a job or get married and often have to live in isolation from society.
Below are a few images from their visit so far
