A multinational business with various industrial interests, who have an industrial plant in the Peterborough area. The company is growing quickly in this particular area, and as such are recruiting for a number of opportunities, including Plant Electrical Technician. This is a busy role with excellent opportunities to progress within the business.
The job
- You will primarily be working with Working with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC software, fault finding in control systems such as PLCs', SCADA, DCS etc through preventative and reactive maintenance, for both plant equipment and for mobile equipment used in the field.
- You will also provide Electrical and PLC support to the Plant and Assembly Team including producing documentationand drawings for the plant PLC.
- You will be maintaining electrical control systems including lighting, direct online, instrumentation, pumps and motors, etc. for the mobile equipment.
- PLC modifications and fault finding in the plant, for operational sites, and on control systems for mobile equipment.
- You will assist in the development of plant modification and improvement work.
- You will maintaining accurate maintenance records.
- You will follow EHS and Quality standards at all time.
What skills will you have?
- Experience in industrial electrical works
- Previously worked in Industrial area, assembly or other operational role
- Strong EHS and Quality awareness
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, or NVQ3 in electrical based units, or similar
- Drawing software skills
