About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Coatings Inspectors to join our team for multiple projects across Europe and the UK. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring that all coating applications meet the specified standards and requirements, ensuring the integrity and longevity of critical infrastructure in the offshore wind, construction, nuclear, and oil & gas sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of surface preparation and coating application processes.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
- Perform and document inspections and tests according to established procedures.
- Identify and report defects or non-conformities, and recommend corrective actions.
- Work closely with project managers, site supervisors, and contractors to ensure quality control.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and test results.
- Provide technical support and guidance to onsite teams regarding coating processes and quality standards.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, technological advancements, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Must possess one of the following;
- ICorr Level 2 or above
- Frosio Level 2 or above
- NACE Level 2 or above
Experience:
- Proven experience in coatings inspection within offshore wind, construction, nuclear, and/or oil & gas sectors.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices in coating applications and inspections.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational and record-keeping skills
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel and work at various sites across Europe and the UK.
- Valid driving license.
- Ability to work full-time onsite.
- Understanding of and commitment to health and safety regulations.
- For European work, ideally a European passport holder, but British nationals will be considered.
