Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Welding Inspector with CSWIP certification for a 1-year contract. The role involves traveling 3 days a week to a single site in Portsmouth to ensure welding operations comply with industry standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct visual inspections of welding work.
- Review and interpret welding procedures, specifications, and drawings.
- Monitor welding processes and techniques.
- Identify and report welding defects or non-conformances.
- Maintain detailed inspection records.
- Collaborate with project teams to resolve issues and improve welding quality.
Qualifications and Skills:
- CSWIP certification.
- Experience as a Welding Inspector.
- Knowledge of welding techniques, processes, and standards.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to a single site 3 days a week.
