The Role: Principal EC&I Engineer
Location: Warrington
Duration: 12 months + Contract
Hours: 40 per week. Hybrid working
Industry: Nuclear

The role:
A Principal EC&I Engineer is initially required to deliver the appraise and select phase CE&I Design for the SMC Project. The engineer will be required to lead a team of CE&I engineers and designers.
Essential experience:
SQEP as AXIOM Principal Engineer
Experience of SL working practices
Previous experience with the design of a broad range of EC&I building services, including LV electrical distribution.
Previous experience with radiological / environmental monitoring systems.
Strong stakeholder management skills, to support / selection and design of new electrical supply routes.
Essential qualifications:
SQEP Axiom Principal Engineer
Desirable experience:
Experience working in a fast-paced project environment.
Familiar with working under NEC3 contracts
Previous experience designing new laboratory facilities, including laboratory instrumentation.
Previous experience of the control of nuclear ventilation systems.
Previous experience with electrical distribution including the design of new HV/LV cable routes, HV/LV transformers and switchgear, and HV/LV distribution.
Previous experience of integrating electrical services into a modular building system.
Previous experience of designing new build facilities for Sellafield would be advantageous, but not essential.
Use of - Revit, AutoCAD, Strong Excel skills, Replicon User, SharePoint (desirable), ProjectWise, Amtech/ Trimble Pro Design, ETAP
