The role: Principal CS&A Engineer
Location: Warrington
Duration: 12 Months+
Hours: 40 hrs - Hybrid working – INSIDE IR35

SFM & Remediation Enabling Projects
This role will assist in supporting the CS&A Team to ongoing Asset Care and new project scope on emerging FED Projects. The role is for a lead CS&A engineer to manage work and produce/check design deliverables working across a range of asset care projects at various stages of the project lifecycle, with some being initiated in the next month or two.
Essential experience:
• General all round civil and structural design experience required, with experience working on alterations and modifications to existing structures amongst other asset care type projects
• Demonstrate strong leadership behaviours to drive timely delivery of an engineering schedule to quality and cost.
• Experience of managing projects, developing schedules and estimates and managing stakeholders.
Essential qualifications:
• Chartered Engineer with the IStructE or ICE (preferred)
• Incorporated Engineer with the IStructE or ICE (minimum)
Desirable experience:
• Experienced in delivering work for SL (preferred)
.• Experienced in writing safety case documents (e.g. DARs and DJRs Substantiation) (preferred).
• A strong understanding of the challenges faced working on asset care tasks in the nuclear sector (preferred).
Desirable qualifications:
Monitored Worker (preferred)
Proficient user of MS Office suite (essential)
Experience using searching for SL information in Cimage and Icepac (preferred)
Proficient in the use of Tedds and Staad Pro (preferred)
