Role

Our client is looking to recruit a Technician/Designer for a permanent position in Bristol.

Tekla and 2D Design (Technician/Designer)

Bristol

Hybrid Working (3 days per week in the office, 2 from home)

Permanent Position

Negotiable Salary

Activities to be carried out as part of the service:

  • Producing steelwork platform designs compliant with the Eurocode3, ETC-C and
  • Edvance internal guidance’s, under the authority of a senior CAD Lead
  • Liaising with the building layout and Civil teams to coordinate the design,
  • Maintaining Edvance’s QA procedures in delivering the SW design,
  • Working with the SW engineers in the preparation of the design drawings/models,
  • Reporting progress in team meeting

Required Technical Skills:

  • Design office experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant Health and Safety regulations
  • Experience in the nuclear sector and plant layout engineering would be
  • advantageous
  • Knowledge of 3D tools, and capability to produce high quality 2D drawings
  • Previous experience in SW design
  • Knows how to deal with the design and layout constraint
