Our Client has a requirement for a Senior CFD Engineer, who will be required to work on a contract basis (Outside IR35) in London.
Role Purpose:
- Analyze soil particle transportation and sand wave migration.
- Perform computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis using commercial software packages.
- Apply expertise in single/multiphase flows, compressible flows, conjugate heat transfer, and discrete phase modeling.
- Leverage a Master's degree/PhD and a minimum of 10 years of design experience in the Oil and Gas industry with a proven track record of technical achievement.
- Enhance flow assurance through steady-state and transient thermal and hydraulic analysis.
Job Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct specialized analyses to support project objectives.
- Utilize advanced CFD tools and techniques to solve complex engineering challenges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions.
- Document and present findings to stakeholders effectively.
Experience / Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge in ANSYS FLUENT and meshing packages such as ICEM, Gambit, and SpaceClaim.
- Experience with OLGA, PIPESIM, and specialized modules including FEMTherm, slug tracking, and compositional tracking.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, FORTRAN, or MATLAB is advantageous.
