A world leading engineering consulting and support service provider is seeking an Electrical Schematics Designer with expertise on Eplan software to join their dynamic team in Dublin. This role involves developing detailed electrical wiring diagrams, panel layouts and device legends using Eplan software. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise and a collaborative mindset to help deliver high-quality designs that meet project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities: Electrical Schematics Designer
- Develop and design electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using Eplan software.
- Collaborate with project engineers and team members to ensure designs meet project requirements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all designs.
- Conduct design reviews and implement feedback as required.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design-related challenges.
- Contribute to the enhancement of design processes and standards.
Key Requirements: Electrical Schematics Designer
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in electrical design, with expertise in Eplan software.
- Familiarity with designing electrical systems for industrial automation, control panels, or similar applications.
- Proficiency in Eplan Electric P8 and other relevant Eplan software.
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as IEC, NEC, and other electrical codes.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Eplan Certification (preferred but not required).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.
