(Rail Transportation Design - Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering) opportunities (Permanent Staff) – Republic of Ireland - Dublin, Dundalk, Cork, or Galway


I am currently working with one of the world’s leading providers of engineering consultancy services, who thrive on innovation, technical excellence, and trusted partnerships.

They are currently seeking Project Managers at varying levels of Seniority to join their team in Ireland.

If your background is large scale Engineering Projects and you have Project Management experience in the field of Transportation / Rail in Ireland or the UK, and you are creative, organised, self-motivated, and collaborative, we want to hear from you!

This role offers the chance to lead high-profile projects, work closely with industry-leading clients, and contribute to impactful infrastructure solutions. You’ll also have opportunities to expand your expertise in complementary sectors and take on more senior responsibilities as you grow.


What you will do

  • Lead multi-disciplinary transportation / railway design projects as a Project or Package Manager.
  • Take ownership of contract and commercial management.
  • Oversee and manage the design process.
  • Mentor and guide staff.
  • Develop tender proposals, lead bids, and secure new commissions.

What we are looking for

  • A degree (Level 8/9) in Engineering or a related field.
  • Chartered status with Engineers Ireland or equivalent (Or working towards for the Deputy level)
  • 5+ years of post-graduate experience (10+ years for Senior Level) ideally with Design Consultancy experience
  • Proven expertise in delivering multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects in Ireland or the UK.
  • Comprehensive understanding of project lifecycles and the ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong communication skills, a collaborative mind-set, and a knack for fostering client relationships.
  • A forward-thinking approach, with awareness of emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • A full driving licence is required.
