Civil Project Engineer

Project Engineer (Civils) – Highways & Transportation | Dublin, Galway, or Cork

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with expertise in planning and design to join a leading global engineering consultancy.

This role offers the opportunity to work on major infrastructure projects across Ireland, contributing to asset management, design, and project delivery within a collaborative and innovative environment.

This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious Engineer working towards Chartership or looking to become a Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and contribute to the planning, design, and project management of highways and transportation projects.
Prepare contract documents, works requirements, and specifications in line with industry standards.
Oversee the full project lifecycle, including feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed design, and contract administration.
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective engineering solutions.
Engage with stakeholders and provide clear, concise technical insights to support project objectives.
Maintain a high standard of technical accuracy and attention to detail in project documentation and drawings.

Requirements:

Degree-qualified (Level 8/9) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Proven experience in transportation and infrastructure projects, with a strong understanding of the project development cycle.
Excellent technical design capabilities and report-writing skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to prioritise workloads effectively within a dynamic project environment.
Full driving licence required.
