Christmas Charity Donations

01 Dec 2015

This Christmas First Recruitment decided to do something a little different. Rather than the usual pocket diary and calendar, First Recruitment made donations to the charities that are supported by our clients.

The CEO of First Recruitment, John Urpi commented,

“We wanted to make our Christmas gifts more meaningful and so we decided to make donations to support those charities that are important to our clients. Some of our clients chose to send our donation to charities or Trusts that have been involved with and are close to the hearts of members of their staff. This has made our gifts all the more meaningful and I’m pleased that they have been used to help make a difference to the lives of those that rely on the charities we’ve donated to.”

Donations have been given to an array of charities including Rochdale Children’s Moorland Home, Children 1st, Great Ormond Street Hospital and Cancer Research UK.

AMEC chose Befriend a Child as their charity. Tony Whitaker, Recruitment Manager at AMEC commented,

“We would like to thank First Recruitment Group for their generous donation towards the ‘Befriend a Child’ charity. This charity has been supported by AMEC throughout 2012 with various fundraising initiatives so we were naturally delighted that First were able to support them also.”

The Wellspring was the chosen charity for Worley Parsons. Jim Allen, HR Business Partner at Worley Parsons said,

“Thanks to First Recruitment for your support and continued quality service to the business during 2012.”
