Investors in People accreditation shows development of culture

First Recruitment Group are delighted to announce that after a recent independent evaluation, we have been accredited with the Investors in People standard.
In fact, we have been accredited since 2012, working hard to continuously improve and develop as a company.
The robust assessment included interviews with 20 employees, observing of activities and assessment of plans, communications materials and policies.
Closer analysis of the report revealed our current strengths are in how we have embedded our company culture, aligned work to the company goals, introduced more accountability, and have ensured a clear understanding of customer requirements.
People Development Manager, Beth Thorpe, who has been instrumental in raising standards, said,
“Improving an internal company environment has to be embraced at all levels from senior management, right throughout the organisation. It’s been great to see everyone support the changes and get involved. The biggest inspiration for improvement has been by implementing a regular anonymous staff feedback form, which has allowed staff to make positive recommendations directly. But the work doesn’t end there. We will continue to push forward and look for new ways to improve and support our staff as they develop their careers at First.”
