Sourcing the best talent within the UK infrastructure sector

First Recruitment Group have worked successfully within the UK infrastructure sector with rail, water and construction clients for a number of years, investing in the right expertise to help them source the best talent.

A great example of our resourcing success, and the great talent available, was demonstrated recently when one of our contractors, Michael Lee, currently placed at ATC Systemwide, won not one but two awards. One award was for his individual efforts and the other was a joint Crossrail Value Award for the contribution he is making with his teammates.

Speaking on the joint award between himself and colleague McDonald, Crossrail said;

Mickey and MacDonald have worked collaboratively together and with their WTC and construction colleagues to drive continuous improvement in the morning start procedure. They have built up a collaborative working environment based on trust.”

Following on from the joint collaboration award, Crossrail went on to congratulate Michael on his individual award, saying;

Michael’s cheerful disposition and respect for others has gained him admiration from his colleagues. His hands on approach is appreciated by the workforce. He has worked tirelessly to problem solve and improve the efficiency of the project and to collaborate with other contractors and help resolve interface issues with C620 & C660 and greatly improve the working relationship between Crossrail contractors.

Here at First Recruitment Group, we have been continuously working to build our presence within the rail industry over recent years and this just goes to show we are making positive steps in the right direction to becoming big players in the game.

This is a fantastic achievement for Michael and us here at First and we hope to see more awards just like this in the future!
